The Bowland Trust Community Development Fund
Overview
The Bowland Trust Community Development Fund provides grants to groups in Meghalaya with the purpose of building skills, creating opportunities, and empowering rural communities. Alongside the grants, the fund provides support for creating action plans, booking training, keeping accounts, and other skills which will help groups develop their ideas into self-sustaining, successful projects.

If you have an idea for a new project to improve your community, or perhaps a plan to expand an existing project, you may be eligible for funding. If you would like to apply, contact our fund manager to arrange an interview and find out more about what is on offer.
Please be aware that groups who apply will need to provide evidence that their project will have clear benefits for their local community, and that their group has the organisation and skills necessary to make their project a success.
